ACRE is a small firm that focuses on the development and implementation of ideas, ensuring that the dream landscape becomes a reality in the smoothest way possible. We work in close collaboration with our clients and their consultants, enabling a truly customized result for each project.

We pride ourselves on developing creative solutions to address existing site conditions. We believe that a landscapes success is defined by how well it suits the needs of those using the site, whether it be a family home in need of more space or an urban park catering to the needs of a neighbourhood. The beautiful, sustainable aesthetic that we stamp our designs with? That’s just a bonus.

We are well versed in a wide range of projects, and each year can see any number of the following.

Custom design + fabrication

Liaising with Municipal Authorities

Overseeing the entire process including landscape build, lighting + irrigation, planting, furnishing, etc.

SYLVIE DE BRABANDERE

Sylvie’s passion for all things outdoor was cultivated at an early age when it was not uncommon to find her waist deep in one the many perennial beds on the farm. She believes that plants are the fabric of unforgettable spaces and she brings this into every project.
When designing, she finds joy in both the golden ratio and the silver lining; an unbeatable combination breathing new life into challenging sites.

Outside of the office you can find her piloting her bike down the road less travelled, eventing with her horse, or chasing her GSP through the woods.

Full member of the O.A.L.A. and C.S.L.A.

USEA Certified ‘r’ Course Designer

Graduated from Guelph University with a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture after completing a Landscape Design diploma at Fanshawe College.
